Synopsis:

This latest chapter in the wildly popular children’s fantasy world of animated bricks is based on the ninja-themed set of LEGO toys.

The film follows young Lloyd, aka Green Ninja (voiced by Dave Franco) who leads a secret, night-time band of ninja warriors to combat the wicked Lord Garmadon (Theroux) who is threatening Ninjago City. The warriors are just ordinary teenagers by day who have been trained in the art of ninja by Master Wu (martial arts legend Jackie Chan). There are further dastardly complications in that Wu is Garmadon’s brother and Lloyd is his son.

Written and directed by a trio of animation doyens whose credits include Tron, Madagascar and How To Train Your Dragon, the action and storytelling as the moral and physical battles build to a devastating climax will delight LEGO-loving audiences of all ages.
