A ‘pop-u-mentary’ following award-winning performance artist Bryony Kimmings and her niece Taylor as they try to combat the hyper-sexualised and commercialised world of pop. For Taylor, the ideal superstar has to be a pop-singing palaeontologist, a little shy, a little nerdy but always brave enough to make her voice heard. Lucky for the nine-year-old, her performance artist aunt turns herself into just this superstar and with professional help they go on a journey to make their alternative popstar world famous. Fame aim: One million hits on YouTube. But the impact it has closer to home is perhaps most powerful of all.
