Film description

Chronic gambler and carouser Little Joe is shot at a gambling club over an outstanding debt. Close to death, he is visited by agents of both the Lord and Lucifer who allow him six months to atone for his sins. Returning to earth unaware of this deal, the Lord and Lucifer watch over him, trying to get him to see things their way.

Featuring an all African-American cast, including jazz legends Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, this little-known gem is ripe for rediscovery!
