The Picture House Project Talk: Looking back as well as forwards

Heritage Open Days Event
Showtimes and location

Film description

Over a century on from our opening night, the Hyde Park Picture House is embarking on an exciting new chapter. Join our cinema team and architects, Page\Park, for an in-depth exploration the cinema’s restoration and renovation – from protecting and preserving our past, to building a more sustainable, comfortable and accessible venue for the future.

The event will give our audience the opportunity to hear from those integral to the project and provide a behind the scenes peek through documented pictures and video of the vital repairs and restoration work on the cinema’s heritage features, to the creation of new accessible facilities, which will make the Picture House a place that everyone can visit.

The event is free but we would be grateful if you could make a donation towards the project here, when booking or at the event. Please also feel free to support our generous friends at the Leftbank, by purchasing a drink or snack from the venue to enjoy alongside the talk when you attend.
