Film description

Lonely, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied by his classmates. But when Eli, a pale young girl moves in next door, a new friendship develops. After a horrifying series of murders in the town however, Oskar soon discovers that Eli is responsible...

Based on the best-selling book by John Ajvide Lindqvist, Let the Right One is both imaginative and moving, and has gone on to cement itself as one of the greatest vampire movies of all time.

This film screening is dedicated to Peter Chandley, chair of the Friends, who sadly passed away last December.

Showing as part of the Friends of Hyde Park Picture House AGM.
