Film description

When all-American couple Janet and Brad’s car breaks down outside an Old Dark House, they’re in for a night of frights and frolics at the hands of Dr Frank N. Furter and all manner of kinky Transylvanians.

With its incredible songs, outrageous costumes and wild characters, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the mother of all musical comedies and a cult favourite for so many. Suspenders, pelvic thrusts and singing out loud are all very much encouraged!

This screening is taking place at the University of Leeds Outdoor Screen – presented by the Hyde Park Picture House and Leeds University Union. For more details about this venue, visit the University of Leeds Outdoor Screen venue page.

If bad weather is forecast, we will contact you on the morning of the performance and we will endeavour to provide an alternative indoor location. If an outdoor screening goes ahead but we do experience light rain, free ponchos will be made available to everyone. In the event of unexpected heavy rain, the screening will be halted and customers will receive an email allowing them to book a free ticket to a future screening.
