The Good Boss
Behind factory owner Blanco's genial façade lies a selfish profiteer. He's all smiles for a visiting journalist and is intent on keeping morale up, so he can win a government excellence award. But when his devious schemes and dodgy practices escalate - making a long-serving employee redundant and taking advantage of his latest intern, cracks start to appear in the industrialist’s world.
In a film of delicious black humour, Javier Bardem is wonderful in his central role of Blanco, embodying the entitlement and ego of a rich privialeged man in the modern corporate world.
