All tickets for the Outdoor Screen are £5 and can only be bought online. They will be available to buy until the start of the film. When you arrive, a Leeds University Union staff member will show you to your designated seat.

You will be able to take your seat 15min before the advertised time, and the film will begin 15min after the advertised time.

Seating is unreserved and we are keeping numbers capped at 100, allowing for some space between groups.

Bad weather

If bad weather is forecast, we will contact you on the morning of the performance and we will endeavour to provide an alternative indoor location.

If an outdoor screening goes ahead but we do experience light rain, free ponchos will be made available to everyone.

In the event of unexpected heavy rain, the screening will be halted and customers will receive an email allowing them to book a free ticket to a future screening.

You're welcome to bring refreshments but alcohol is not permitted.

Getting There

By walking & cycling:

Chancellor's Court is in the centre of the University of Leeds campus and located next to the Roger Stevens Building. It is a 15/20 minute walk from Leeds city centre, most easily accessed via Leeds General Infirmary and Edge sports centre.

There are plenty of bike racks by around campus for anyone cycling.

By Train, Bike, or Bus:

A number of bus services run from the city centre to the Parkinson Building. Take bus numbers 1, 6, 28, 56, or 97. Ask for the “Parkinson steps” bus stop.

By Car:

Parking on campus is limited, and we are also committed to reducing our carbon emissions, so we encourage staff and visitors to walk or cycle where possible.

Outside core parking hours (7am to 5pm Monday to Friday), the orange zone visitor car parks are open to the public, and you can pay at a pay station before you leave.

More details of visitor Parking is available here.

Please note – additional Blue Badge parking is available on Campus – around 500 metres away, within the Leeds University Multi-storey car park should the spaces by the Union be unavailable. Additional spaces are also provided off-Campus at the Woodhouse Lane Multi-storey.
