The impact of the Coronavirus outbreak will be hugely damaging for many cultural organisations in the UK, and the Hyde Park Picture House is no exception.
The premature closure of the cinema, and the cancellation of all scheduled off-site screenings, represents a vital loss of income for the Picture House.
Without this revenue stream, the cinema is anticipating a period of significant financial difficulty over the coming months, during a key time in its history.
In response, for those who are able to, there are two ways audiences can continue supporting the Picture House during this difficult time – by making a donation to our Respond Fund, or purchasing a gift-voucher which can be used for cinema tickets at a later date once screenings resume.
We understand that current events are putting a huge strain on everyone’s finances right now, so for those that are able to continue supporting us – no matter how small the contribution – we’d like to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you.
